Hi All - My M2 CS landed Wednesday. Car has so much presence in person....such a little thug. Installed IND painted reflectors during the PDI (I always order them before my cars arrive). I live in OH so unfortunately was only able to drive it a short distance. Major driving impressions will have to wait as the weather is complete garbage right now. Only thing I did notice (I posted a thread about it) - the exhaust note is very quiet with no pops or burbles, far quieter than my friend's M2C, even when it was pre-break in. Hopefully it will be louder post break in, as videos I've seen suggest it will be. Very lucky and fortunate to own an all time great like this car. More photos to come!!

Have the same color combo as you, should i get the IND reflector deletes with the ceramic coating or without you think? I may wrap the car or do ceramic coating, but my gut says to get them without and then have the car PPF'd fully in my chosen method. Thanks for the advice and the car looks great.

Took some more photos and went on a drive this past weekend. Was cold and damp out, had some "oh s***" moments on the Cup 2s, but overall so impressed with the car. Standout thing is that the car just feels so RIGHT. The right size, great balance, great power (torque everywhere). I love it. I did attach a photo of a flaw in the CFRP roof - it doesn't really bother or annoy me at all, I almost appreciate the flaw, but thought I would post it.

Did you do full PPF and Ceramic on the car already, cause it has a nice shine to it.

For some strange reason I foresee the car having the worst CF weave being the most valuable at some point lol. But in reality, the opposite is likely true. Nonetheless they all look like amazing machines.

If my car has similar, it won't bother me at all. It is a known common aesthetic finding (not going to say defect) on most it not all of the cars if carefully looked for and will be a conversation piece. The discussion should always include the fact that this carbon roof is unlike any other BMW carbon roof due to its structural characteristics, eliminating the need for a metal supporting structure which further reduces weight while being more rigid than the CF roof on M3/M4.

If BMW perfects the manufacturing process to prevent these irregularities (not going to say defects) in the future, the CS goes down as the pioneer on the cutting edge of the technology. Cool.

If BMW can't eliminate the irregularities and abandons the structural sandwich design CF roof, our cars will be even more unique. Also cool.

Worst case scenario, if BMW continues making them and using them in future cars with similar characteristics (not going to say defects, LOL), no one will care. Cool.

There is no defect other than people's lenses

In hindsight it's amusing that we all got torqued up about it, but of course we did. It does not present as a defect in any way. The roof looks truly stunning from every angle, and undoubtedly contributes significantly to what makes this such a special drive.
