You'd better get some rest. You have at least 108 hours of installation work ahead of you!

Congrats - finally! Amazing it took almost a week longer to get to your dealer than mine off the same boat. Looks terrific!

Congrats, Supadice.

As can be seen in your pictures, yours is 17mm less wide than the EUR-spec version.

Explanation: no fender extensions (see for example here).

I agree, but I'll allow breaks for food, sleep, uploading CD's to the infotainment system, and reading the manual. I did not include those activities in the 108 hours.

Mine was on the same boat as the 2 of you ( Supadice and Axm2cs ). Mine just left the port !! Now in transport to dealer. So add another 3 or 4 more days. Been thoroughly displeased with BMWs lack of effort to get a sold car to its customer. It will be 2-1/2 months of time since car was completed til I receive it.

It's really not a BMW issue - the port congestion, paperwork issues, customs issues, etc are all pretty epic right now with COVID. Go read the Peloton forums if you want to hear some real bitching about transit times for a simple purchase.

Supadice hasn't responded to this thread yet . . . maybe he drove out to PA to get the car and is now somewhere in the Catskills listening to tunes and tearing up roads . . .

Absolutely gorgeous! Yours is the exact combo I would have gone with if I didn't move to a P-car. Do you have gold Brembo's all around or will you have to powdercoat the stock rears gold to match?

I can't wait to see it with the brakes and BBS on.

Man, sorry to hear that! I was stunned when my SA texted me last week that he had my car already. Somehow it flew through Port (then a short drive to the Maryland dealer). Must have been loaded last on the ship .. Supadice's wait was tough, but yours is absurd. Not sure who to blame .. blame everyone

FWIW .. rest assured it will be worth the wait! Hope for a mild Michigan winter

It'll all be worth it in the end.

Jimjamz's boat arrived at Port two days after mine was dropped off. He's picked up his already and mine is still at Port awaiting customs clearance.

The fact is, I have been waiting since Feb 2018 for this baby and a week extra is not going to make any difference (though naturally it would be better to have it earlier).

The wait has actually made a better person out of me; patience is a virtue (so I wait patiently till the day I can drive the beast like a beast)

That's the thing. The wait makes the enjoyment of getting her that much better! I would not change it.
