Haa.. Wow!
If the ADM isn't too steep on that scooter, I may drop my CS allocation all together..:
Glad you have some humor about it! They are all just colors and we should choose whatever fits our fancy for whatever reasons we so choose!

Driving through town and seeing two blue M235's pass me I realized that any normie looking at a MB M2 CS parked or even an enthusiast passing one on the highway in the opposite direction real fast will just think it's a modded M240 because the blues are similar and also that MB is a standard color.

Not that you should care what other people think. Get the color that makes your heart pump.

Any normie is going to think that for any of the 4 colors frankly.

Too many ugly colors out there. MB is one of them. Played out by the FocusRS/STi/Evo crowd for years. Looks incredibly cheap IMO.

HS truly is stunning in person. It's subtle enough and changes the hues depending on lighting. The nicest metallic I ever came across.

Loud blue colors get old fast. They stick out for all the wrong reasons. And while certain BMW blues like Interlagos or San Marino look very nice, the others scream "boy ricer" to me.

Sure, a lot of this is subjective. But there's a reason why most people despised laguna seca blue and Phoenix yellow on the e46 M3. They were hyped and supposedly "awesome" colors... that nobody cared for several years after production.

I'm not a big fan of black cars, but these things look awfully damn good in all black!! Would likely have been by choice behind MB.

The perception of color is very subjective due to the anatomy of the light gathering rods and cones in the eye. I have strong feelings about the color options, which I've suggested in the past. At this time of ordering and delivery I've toned down my commentary in effort to not shit on others preference. CS owners take enough crap for buying what they want. Crapping on their color choice seems unnecessary. HS is a remarkable color that must be seen in person to truly appreciate. I was set on getting HS/gold, but BSM/gold left me feeling more excited so I went that route.

To be fair, this thread is directly asking for opinions on CS colors. I don't think "crapping on their color choice" applies here. If opinions on something as subjective as color get some snowflakes upset, then this thread should be locked and this entire forum censored.

I’ve had a loud yas marina blue m3 for almost 3 years. It’s not a daily, but I enjoy the color just the same and I’ve driven a lot of nice cars and haven’t got nearly half the compliments on the paint color as I have with yas.

Misano blue is another beautiful color on this body and if I kept my order I’d be happy to rock that another 3 plus years.

If you think MB looks the same as the Focus RS/STI/Evo crowd, then I think you haven't seen them all in person (I'm sarcastically using as broad of strokes as I think you were). On top of that, Estoril Blue is one of the most valuable colors on an E36 M3. If you are calling the color spectrum that close together, then you are never convincing me that HS isn't just a dirty pearl white like every old man cadillac out there...

MB is lighter, but it's damn close to EBII which I get a ton of compliments on with my F30 as well.

The Blue is sensational.. I am a huge fan of it! I was worried its too "other cars" but on the M2 with the gold wheels.. omg home run! Everyone comments on 4 things with this car, the colour, the roof, the rims, and the huge brakes.

I like the outside combo for sure. It works.

My biggest issue if anything is the Alcántara / red on the inside that makes my brain want the red brake calipers and then I tell myself that there are better matching exteriors colors.

It's a vicious cycle and I get no where.

Well if your looking for an exterior element to balance the red stitch, you get non negotiable brake lights, so you're covered there I guess..

I have HS and while I like the color there are a lot around. If I were to order I would go Blue.

Back around 2007 I had a Voodoo Blue FJ Cruiser and soon after a friend sent me this picture.

Imagine M2 CS, HS, GLD, 2NH with the M Performance Decals... That's my config. Over the top? yes. Just like the 3.0 CSL Homage.

I think the decals work for that color.

I mean, that's where this becomes sooo super subjective for everyone.

The Blue is in your face "Boy-Racer" to some, but once you take any color and splash it w/ decals and wrap elements, that's like another level furious.

Like everyone else it boils down to what might be most livable for everyone.

Hell, I have a Clapped-out Nitrous Blue Focus RS that falls well w/in the Gymkahna wannabe track star zone, so it is what it is I guess.

I clearly have an instinctive reaction.

I am still undecided here, but leaning toward MB and may just idle until the clock runs out and my selection is locked..

I've already changed from MB-HS-MB-HS. I think I'll stick with HS.
