I have a close relationship with one of the dealerships where I buy/lease my vehicles and send referrals to.
A recall like this is something I would request info on to keep the referral process trouble-free for prospective clients and prevent them from running into any issues during the purchase and delivery process. |

For all we know, that flyer/document just might be accurate for U.S.-based VIN's, if not for RoW, but I do not like guessing for these types situations where it can potentially make/break a sale. I can only accurately inform people of the information I know of from BMW SIBs. There is no firm ETA for Canada, maybe there is for the U.S.

I talked to my SA, the owner of the BMW auto group I bought from, and a direct BMW company customer service rep. Between the 3 of them they said they have no update and no estimate of time.

This matches what I heard from the central USA rep

I understand that. But the owner of the dealership, who j know wants to keep me happy and keep my business is not even hinting at knowing of a solution. He has been honest in saying he knows of no solution or ETA.

That’s what I’m afraid of. If the 27th was even remotely accurate then why are PCDs being cancelled for the 10th and 12th. Sigh.
I’m assuming in addition to getting parts shipped, instructions and TSBs need to be written |

Update for Canadian VIN's:
Limited supply of knee airbags are being shipped from Germany on May 29th. It takes about 1-1.5 weeks to arrive. Assuming the same time frame for U.S. dealerships, that could be the reason why PCD deliveries are being cancelled as they parts will only be arriving second week of June at the earliest and that's not including installation. |

I think it's prior to March 19th, as I was told my March 12th build had the recall when I did my 1200 mile service last week

My M2C got caught in the stop delivery the day before I was scheduled to get it a couple weeks ago through ED. As far as I know the car is still in Germany and it's showing the airbag recall in the database. That said, I assume BMW is updating the database regularly. |

My dealer told me late May early June. So I think parts for the US have already been shipped( I could be wrong). That also means US markets first then Canada market...? |
