With the taillight failure problem most dealers will replace a taillight for free. That is unless you hit something and broke it.

Everything’s LED except reverse light is incandescent

Switched to LEDs from Amazon when I went with yellow turn signal EDM taillights.

FYI, the Contact Us page on https://www.bmwpartsdeal.com shows their address as:
2500 Troy Ave, South El Monte, CA 91733, United States

Looking that address up leads to a company that sells OEM car parts called "Auto Best Corporation".
They have almost all 1 star reviews on Google: https://maps.app.goo.gl/4Q83VPZA88W3mLcGA

Looks like they also operate https://www.moparpartsgiant.com/ which has a unanimous 1 star rating across 21 reviews and 3 years on yelp.... https://www.yelp.com/biz/mopar-parts...south-el-monte

Based on what I can see, they're a drop shipping operation that places the order with someone else after you order with them. This leads to long delays in your order and they also refuse to refund/cancel anything. I would stay far away from this company.

Looks like this one is run out of the BMW dealership in Orland Park, IL. Similar to how getbmwparts.com is run from a Maryland BMW dealership, IIRC?

Every online parts site is run out of a dealership parts department, even the one OP posted. To be competitive you have to start with wholesale pricing, which only parts departments would be able to accomplish.

It looks like this isn't correct, if the site is actually a drop-shipper as noted in an earlier post. Wholesale pricing is indeed going to be the rock bottom, unless parts are stolen or counterfeit (or factory defects/seconds). That makes me very suspicious of places that seem to really undercut these 'dealer-wholesaler' prices - waaaay too easy to counterfeit parts these days. Not a biggie for that tail light - all you are out is the purchase price - but when it is wheels, brakes, suspension then it can get very bad.

If the parts are legit I guarantee they’re drop shipping from…….a dealer parts department. There just isn’t a lot of channels outside of that for BMW wholesale parts, like there is American brands.

Yes, this is where I bought my FG 763M CS wheels for much less than other online stores including getbmwparts. The tel# listed on the invoice has their business logo which I have called several times to buy other parts.

FWIW, you may want to try taking those prices to your local dealer and asking if they will price match (they get their parts from the same place, same price, so just a question of if they want to do a fast deal for less markup). I did that for my wheels, preferring a local transaction in case there were problems. Worst they can do is turn you down, but it worked for me.

I've called several dealers here in NorCal before I bought my wheels and other parts but none would match the price of online dealer sellers.
