hey guys, next week I am shipping my M2 from CT to Tampa, FL and was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for customization shops near downtown Tampa. I currently own a big turbo OG M2 and looking for a reliable, reasonable quoting shop for maintenance and aftermarket part installs. I currently go to ACI Dynamix as my one stop shop in CT and am looking for the same in Tampa ! Also, feel free to follow me on Instagram @mako_m2 I'd love to meet more M2 owners in the Tampa area !

Welcome to Tampa! St. Petersburg is across the bridge and there is a great shop called Potter's Precision Imports, here is their site - https://pottersimports.com/ I have been taking my E46 and F87 there for a few years for tire changes, end of warranty inspections, and things that are over my skill level.

I'm downtown near channelside. that shop works on customization ? I'm looking for high end shops that can do it all from car mod installs, custom tuning, wraps, ect.

seems like a good general maintenance place. looking for customization shops as well for modification installs

Not sure if they do wraps but... Tampa Bimmer Club swears by them for install of performance parts and what not. I plan on using them for my suspension install.

I’m in Lakewood Ranch and have been taking our 2021 M2C, 2019 X3M40i, 2019 X5 to Bert Smith BMW in St. Pete. We’ve been happy, but as we approach end of maintenance plans and warranties, I’d like to find a trusted independent shop. Can you share your recommendations?

I been going to Midnite Tuning. I heard Tuning Dynamics is also good. Those are like the only two shops that I’d recommend

Has anyone had any experience with Rennen Imports off of Himes or European Autohaus off Bearss?

I had a PPI done for my 2020 M2C a month back with Rennen and they seemed pretty solid. I might be doing some preventative maintenance soon, getting quotes from both, but wondering if anyone else has used either of these shops.

I’m pretty sure I called them and they didn’t want to work on my car due to it being highly modified. I’m bringing my car over to Westshore Automotive on Wednesday to get an oil change and rear differential fluid change. Quoted were pretty standard.

No need to go out of town to get good service on your M2. SRQ Motorsports is highly recommended as is Lowe's Automotive. SRQ Motorsports is at 1940 13th Street which is off US301 and Lowe's Automotive is on Pinkney St. off Clark Rd. I have a 2017 M2 and I have been using Lowe's for over 20 years for lots of cars I have owned. I have not yet used SRQ Motorsports but I know one of the techs and all techs there are well educated in automotive issues.

they good but don’t work with aftermarket modifications so I had to bring it to Tuning Dynamics in Port Richey

Yeah I just contacted Westshore and they said they're not doing aftermarket installs anymore... bummer.

I'm trying to get an Autosolutions SSK installed, didn't think it would be this hard to find a shop. Currently looking at European Performance in St Pete but I'll have to check out Tuning Dynamics as well.
