It's a free market but I'm the one with the choice on how much I'll pay.
Same here, but got a unreal deal on 540i last week for the wife which we could not pass. I was initially planning to drive up north to pickup and even submitted the credit app. But made a last minute call just to see what's up, two days later it's on our garage.

Shop around, I bought my 17 M2 in Oct 2016 without a markup or putting my name on a list months in advance, just called around. Same for my 2019 M2C, even got ED MSRP without haggling.

Anything and everything is 'worth' what somebody is "willing" to fork over. I was lucky last month with my purchase experience. The initial push for this car has lessened enough (at least in my market of southern AZ) where I was literally in and out of the dealership with an allocation and fair price in 20 minutes. It shows up next month or early November.

Idk how good of a deal that is given the current market. $2-3k in savings over new is not really worth it to me personally. But beautiful car and GLWS.

I’m taking offers - I’m pretty sure we will find a price that works well for both parties. Win-win.

I already bought. Just giving my thoughts. But I think this is a bit too aggressively priced. For example I wouldn't pay over $55k. But like I said, GLWS!

A $61k offer is realistic and shouldn't get you kicked out of the store.

They have it notated in their service database. They only offer loaners to customers that bought their car from them (so they need to know).
That's fucked up.

Ok folks... need one more follow up... vehicle price $62.7k... would offer 59K... realistic or no?

Base white car with DCT only...I think my offer is very reasonable.

Depends on where you are in the US. In my area, anything under MSRP will get you laughed right out of the dealership. But if your area is a bit more willing to play ball, not a bad place to start and see where is goes.

If anything BMW Seattle is always discounting the hell out of "special" cars.

It's a rainy techie city, nobody wants a loud RWD bright colored M car.

For CA residents I'd recommend leasing from a dealer a little inland. They are very aggressive with pushing inventory.

The M2C only comes in several colors and a couple packages, shouldn't be hard to find the right car in such a big state.

In my country at a official BMW/Porsche/Mercedes/Ferrari/ etc dealer you always pay the normal market price. Dealer Markups must be USA thing?

Dealer Markups are only done in certain areas of U.S.and not everywhere. If I gave the impression that all dealers were doing this that is incorrect. The vast majority do not use Dealer Markups. I would like to see BMW NA stop this practice. It hurts their brand.

That offer is in line with your offer on the $64k car and is a fair starting place for most markets.

I’m attempting to PM you - your inbox is full.

Well said

Here in NYC, the dealers are sharks but they're still currently willing to discount over $2,000 on a fully-equipped M2C.

However, it's BMW Financial that are being dicks and not applying any of their promotional rate and rebates to the M2C only.
