Our PNW mountain highways are some of the most satisfying drives.

Have you ever run the highway from Enterprise, OR to Lewiston, ID? It's a hoot! Then there is the Lewiston Grade/Old Spiral Highway just north of Lewiston which is a great road, but more travelled and used by cyclists.
Thanks! Some of my favorites for sure - check out these photos: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1493231
Sweet!

You inspired me to grab a few pics on my 10 hour round trip to pick up my kid from camp....along the Historic Columbia Gorge Highway, designed and build by Sam Hill to be an unobtrusive part of the landscape....usually makes for a great road!

GREAT pics, this is what it’s all about here.

I lived in WA & UT for several years, similar scenery to your pics. Takes me back

Now this is what life's little treats can do for us! Actually go out and see our world. Pause, soak it in, drink a beer, listen... thanks for sharing. We all need this from time to time.

Refreshing to view a post about someone enjoying a nice drive in their BMW vs reading about mechanical issues and other stuff.
Well done!

Amazing photos. I've always wanted to do something similar. Just curious if you keep a spare/emergency tire in your trunk?

Very nice! Several friends of mine and I were over there with car and bikes just a few weeks ago. I love that area! https://bwhip62.wordpress.com/2019/0...r-summer-2019/

Thank you!

That's probably a good idea, but I haven't yet set it up that way. Currently filled mostly with cleaning products.

Yeah I don't know how I could buy nice rims living here. Hell, I get scared walking the streets in NYC.
