Just picked up a low Km 18 M Performance edition. Someone ordered it from factory and it sat in their garage Time for some coding and mods.

Nice looking car!

For what its worth, i believe the actual M Performance Edition was only in 2017. It had manual seats and a bunch of M goodies on it. I believe yours is just an LCI with all the M performance bits added (better than the actual MP edition, IMO).

Thats what I thought before buying the car. The build date was OCT/2017, but registered as a 2018. All the research I found said the US cars didn't come with power seats and ..... But the Canadian dealership I purchased it from said otherwise. So I emailed BMW Canada gave them my vin. They confirmed it was a Performance edition for Canada. I would love to hear from someone else that had allocation for a Canadian Build to compare. But either way I happy...

Yeah, dunno. US cars come with power seats. The only ones that didn't were the performance edition. Though as far as I know, those were all MY2017 and white. They also had single zone climate control and a few other things to cut down on weight. Honestly it doesn't matter, it's a sweet ride either way enjoy it.

The door sill will also say M perfomance rather than M on the us performance editions

Though maybe there was a canadian version with different specs

Tho keep in mind its not just carbon, came with 763m wheels, thats a good chunk of $$$ alone

Black Shadow was fitted with 763M wheels.

Yea its very weird that there is so limited info about this.. But who ever ordered the car, Ordered it will the full M performance package. I contacted BMW Canada again and they Said it was built as a M performance Edition. but then again who cares. DP ORDERED ... hah the intercooler and. charge pipes along with a tune.. Coming from a 911 GTS ... and I absolutely love this car.

Which tune? Those parts will surely transform the car! I have the same mods all VRSF with the stg2 91 octane BM3 map

Interesting you are switching from the GTS to the M2. If you don't mind me asking, why did you switch?

Not sure on tune yet.Just starting looking into the BM3. They seem you have great reviews. Are you happy with yours ass far a power...

Loved my GTS..but. A good friend has a M2 and I just loved the technology of the M2. Also it was like a go kart on steroids. Over half the price and just as fun if not more. I feel its a drivers car.. def not a down grade. the m2 puts a shit eating grin on my face when I get sideways and shift gears haha

Haha That's awesome I do love my M2 as well. Especially on the track, good to hear it is more fun than the 911.

Oh yea no complaints! Tune is very sensitive to octane though so would recommend some logging to make sure you are running the appropriate map. Had some timing corrections on the 93 octane map and went down to 91 although I fill what's supposedly 94.

Need to log again could've just been a bad batch of gas too

Also think it's the gold standard when it comes to F chassis cars

I too have one and can fill you in on some of the details. There were 50 of these made for Canada, all were LCI's, and had to be ordered prior to mid August 2017.

The M-Performance Package consisted of the following:
552 - Adaptive LED Headlights
6CP - Apple CarPlay
Z31 - High Gloss Black Kidney Grills
Z33 - High Gloss Black Side Air Breather
Z50 - Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser
Z69 - Carbon Fibre Mirror Caps
Z95 - Carbon Fibre Rear Spoiler
ZRK - Carbon Fibre Front Splitters
ZRQ - M Performance Suspension
ZRR - 19" M Performance Wheels, Style 763M w/ Michelin Sport Cup 2 Tires
ZRX - Carbon Fibre Side Wings
ZX1 - M Performance Exhaust w/ Carbon tips

Of note is that the purchaser received both "Summer" and "Track" wheels/tires packages as part of the purchase. "Summer" being Conti's on 437 rims and "Track" being the sport cup 2's on 763 rims.

There were no "options" save the colour and transmission ... you could have sapphire black or long beach blue and obviously manual or DCT.

Thanks Planman!!! This is the exact build of my car. Thanks for clearing this up for me. BMW Canada did finally get back to me to confirm this as well. Only bummers I didn't get the second set of rims.. Im sure the previous owner sold them separately.. I do need some track wheels to haha.
