Bilstein b6 dampers for f8x

Complete set of bilstein dampers, covered less than 1500 miles.
Can be paired with eibach/H&R springs.
If paired with eibach a would suggest trimming the rear bump stops

£550

Hi mate, Interested in these and currently running eibachs... how did you find these dampers compared to standard, did they provide the improvement you were after?

Why do you say the bump stops need trimming if fitted with Eibachs.. Do they effectively raise the car because they are stiffer and made for the standard spring length..??

Cheers, J

The b6’s are better dampers for sure-significantly better handling. The eibachs on my m2 dropped the rears probably more than the advertised 20mm-probably closer to 25mm which made the ride great on smooth/ok roads. The roads I take to work are semi rural and ride was slightly crashy which was rectified by trimming tears about 10mm.

Glad I didn’t buy these in the end as they don’t work with KW HAS kit as the collars aren’t interchangeable

So I have recently been told.
