Tire sizes for M2

Has anyone tried 275/30 R19s on the front of their M2? If so any rubbing issues or other negative side effects? Thanks.

I was going to go to 255/275 also, but have just read (literally two mins ago) some posts on an M2 Facebook group that two guys have done this and got noticeably worse tram-lining at the rear.

I have 255/35R19 in the front now 275/35R19 in the rear. I havent noticed tram lining got about 10k miles on this set. The 255s in the front are super close to the inner fender liner havent rubbed yet though.

I noticed that going 255/275 also saves about £10/tyre....strange, but that's the pricing on black circles

Are you using OEM wheels or do you have aftermarket wheels with a wider rim? If OEM, 275mm is a little wide for a 9 inch rim. They are better suited to a 10 inch rim. Otherwise, the steering response will be worse than stock.

I don't know whether they will fit without rubbing but I have my doubts.

Thanks for all the feed back. I am leaning 265/30 R19 on the front and 295/30 R19 on the back. I am running stock rims.

Speaking of price I stalk tire rack daily for the older production runs that they mark down. I have 285/35 R19s in the back Toyo Proxy 1s paid $150 a tire and 255/35 R19s on the front Good Year Asymmetric 2s paid $147 a tire for those. Since I am commuting 800 plus miles a week not to worried about the older production since I go thru them so quickly.

Do you need to modify the camber to run 265/30 R19 and 295/30 R19?

I didn't plan to. The rolling size difference is .5 on the front and .3 for the rear, so i am not thinking any camber change is necessary. I might get an alignment since i am getting close to 40,000 miles on the car though.

I ran 265/35r19 square on stock wheels in the winter with zero rubbing. Tires were blizzak lm60s.

Keep in mind some tires run wider than others. Check the manufacture specs on section width.

I am in talks with Titan7 for 275 up front on their TS5, will let you know. I am lowered on MCS with GC camber plates -2.5°.

Cool, if they fit on a lowered car should work fine on stock I would think.

275/30 is a no go. They said it is possible with -3.0° camber but I am not doing that. 265/30 is no prob they said.

Than I think 295/30 R19 in the back and 265/30 R19 in the front will do nicely. Thanks for the input!

Does anyone know if 18"x10 et 25 fit without rubbing in the rear? Thinking of using 275 40 18 tires with it. Thanks!
