Seattle Dealer Recommendations
After a lifetime of solely owning Japanese makes, I've decided to take the plunge on a M2 Competition for my next vehicle.
Which dealers (and/or salesman) do you guys recommend I look into? I understand the M2 is still highly sought after and will most likely require ordering one as opposed to finding them sitting on dealer lots. I had my heart set on the new Supra this fall, but that plan went out the window after the reveal. __________________ 2016 WRX | 2003 350Z Track | 1972 240Z |

I use Rick at BMW Seattle. There is a waiting list for the M2C.
Bellevue BMW has the worst reputation among the three local dealers. |

Thanks for the recommendations. I did hear from coworkers that Bellevue has a spotty reputation.
I understand each dealer has a limited number of allocations for the M2? Hoping it's not going to take a year to get one. @orangeglim - A couple of reasons. 1) No manual transmission and 2) the styling is atrocious. I feared that Toyota would bring their overwrought styling to the Supra. And they did. So that made the M2 my new top choice on the list. |

I hear Kevin at BMW NW is great to work with if you go that route. From what I was told at NW, only Seattle and NW are //M certified dealers. Gl, the car is worth the wait! |

Usually no. But if one is required, it is fully refundable under Washington law.

*Update*
This past weekend I got a call from my SA at BMW Seattle, letting me know they have an open build slot for me. This was very unexpected... but I'm not complaining. It took all of 6 weeks from putting my name on the list to order being placed. I had planned for a fall delivery but now I might just have a car by the end of June. I just wanted everyone to know that if you’re interested in a M2 Competition, it might be worth your time to contact BMW Seattle.

Thanks. I'm working with Rick per DanG's recommendation.
@Poffman - Good to know. Thanks for the heads up. By the way, if anyone here knows, how does one go about finding your build date/week? I logged onto the MyBMW site and it shows as "Scheduled For Production" but no additional information as to when.
