Got an official reply from Max. One thing I want to highlight is that this will be an upfront purchase and will take 6-8 months for the orders to be fulfilled after he gets the greenlight and he has been paid in full. (This matches what I remember with the 1M models).

There is a plan for 1:43 and 1:18 scale models for the M2 Competition. I will need to figure out shipping. Pricing from the 1:18's for the 1M were here to get an idea: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show...12&postcount=7

So to sum it up, expect north of $220 USD upfront which would ship to me, then ship to you directly (your call if you trust me) for a 1:18 based on the previous effort.

I have sent Max a reply asking for what may be customizable and when he expects to see the green light on this project.

From Max:

the green light I will hopefully have by end of November.

Customizable options are:

- Body color
- Window trimlines
- License plate
- Interior stitching detail
- There are 2 sets of wheels I believe, so this would be an option as well, I will definitely know by end of November as well
- Black line taillights

Effectively, our revered Dackelone already managed to get an exceptional one-off BMW model from Minichamps for a petrol head friend. It was a true copy of the friend's modded BMW car (Minichamps got several pictures to fine-tune the car details). And Dackel gave it free of charge, as a gift of BMW friendship. The friend was totally surprised by this secret "Dackelone Individual" operation.

I met Dackel already several times IRL, enjoying several mountain drives in Europe, and can tell you that he's a very kind and generous person + a walking BMW encyclopedia.

@Dackelone is an amazing enthusiast, he helped me with many questions I had on my European Delivery!

I am honored to call Luc Artemis & Rudi Grey Dove my friends. Yes, I gave Rudi a carbon copy of his Santorini Blue 1M. Max at Minichamps was kind of enough to make me a custom model of Rudi's car. Max said it was one of his most intricate builds.

IF anyone wants a custom model... you should contact Max at Minichamps. But it won't be cheap... figure about ~three times the price of a "off the shelf" model. He can do it all, though. Right down to grills and custom license plates.

Riviera Blue Can you make some custom M2 Models in 1:43 or 1:18 scale ?

Here are some of our Alpine memories over the years. I always look forward to our summertime meetups, driving the Alps here in Europe. Bellow are some of my favorite photos from our little adventures.
