Hey guys, wondering if I can get some advice. I'm still not getting a sure answer yes or no if I can run the stage 2 map on my car. I've asked BM3 customer service prior and they told me I must run an aftermarket dp be it may catless or high flow even though I did mentioned I'm running AA mid-pipe which I thought may help a little regarding having less restrictive exhaust with fewer cats. The reason I ask this is I see some guys running stage 2 map 93 maps on their m3/m4's and the platform should be near the same, yes? So I'm confused, can I run stage 2 with my M2 comp with AA mids or do I need a dp? Though I do want more power I really don't want to be full catless since I don't have any secondary cats anymore.

This is a post from the m3/m4 forums.

You canít without a downpipe. M3/M4 downpipes are way different. Just kidding of course you can!

Of course you can run stage 2 without DPs, just you won't get the full benefit of the map but it will still be markedly better than a stage 1.

Ok so I purchased the bundle but it doesn't seem to be updated in the account. Is there something I need to activate?

Ok for those who have a 2020 M2 competition I just got an email from a local tuner who handles Cary e85 tunes and was told the 2020 m2's are now unlockable. Can you confirm?

They've always been unlockable, you do need to remove the ECU. Whether it is unlockable through the OBDII port by users is another question.

Guys, can people now tune their cars using Bootmod3 even if they have the latest June version software?

If you physically remove the ECU from the car and send it to them, Yes.

If you want to go through the cars on board diagnostics port, No.
