M2C repairs: will original M2 parts fit the M2C ?
Hello
I hope I posted this in the right and best place! I have an M2 Competition 2019 and had an accident. The part list is very expensive compared to buying a working (Good condition) M2 N55 model. Is it possible to use the M2 parts in the M2C? The accident was in the front bumper and fender (The engine & tranny have not been hit) Main parts are: Radiator and cooling (I don’t need this from the N55 M2 as the car has been heavily modded with CSF aftermarket parts and I will replace them from CSF) Can I use the N55 M2 parts for the below? I do need the fenders, bumper and inner brackets. I also need the airbags & seatbelt to replace the airbags that popped out (Driver & passenger). The whole list of 343 parts is attached Appreciate any suggestions or feedback on my problem |

I am not sure that many things from the OG M2 are going to work - nothing related to the engine, front bumper, grill, or cooling systems as those are all different from the OG.
Maybe the airbag(s) or any interior-related pieces that are damaged? those could be the same...but I can't imagine you will have much luck elsewhere Don't you have full coverage insurance, since your car is so new?

www.realoem.com if the parts are interchangeable, they'll have the same part#
For example: M Sports Steering Wheel |

Sorry to hear. When encountered a rollover, the car needs a thorough inspection for safety reasons. Sure that your car is still street-legal after repairs (possible hidden damage) ?
If I were you, I'd stick with the OEM M2 Competition parts, not only for your safety, but also to avoid delicate discussions during a possible resale (if ever) or possible future accidents (hopefully none). If that's the case (parts & labor), then get the original M2. Also to have peace of mind for safety issues.

OK, then I misunderstood. I thought that he had rolled his M2C.

Even if they fit the M2c has a different bumper for a reason. S55 engine requires more frontal cooling than a N55 engine thus the redesigned bumper for the M2c.
Any pictures of the damage?

After going through realoem.com for interchangeability, it seems most parts are interchangeable with M2 N55, M3 F80 & M4 F82/83 so will look to see if I can find these parts for cheap. |

Beware: also keep in mind homologation and insurance requirements.
