40 sidewall profile tires

Anyone here running 40 sidewall profile tires on M2C

245/40/19 front
265/40/19 rear

Apart from the the speedo what other problems will come up?

Too tall of a tire for the front. 265/35r19 rubs for most folks who have tried it, and the 245/40r19 is even taller.

I personally tried my rear wheel on the front with a spacer and the tire touched the liner well before full lock in either direction on stock suspension when sitting in my driveway. Didn’t bother to try driving since it was already rubbing.

True, but those 18s won't fit an M2C with the bigger front brakes. Maybe BMW offers an official 19" winter setup for the M2C.

Yes they do

19" style 641m with either 235/35/19 F&R or 235&255/35/19 tyres

F8x use same wheels but with 255/35/19 all round

Sorry, didn't see we were talking about the M2C. Either way, BMW doesn't offer 255/40R19 winter tires for M2C, they are 235/35R19 and 255/35R19.
