I wouldn't mind a S. I wouldn't sell a CS for a 718. Not enough of a upgrade too matter. 911 or bust

How many times could you do that I wonder

If you charge each seller $500 for your companion listing plus costs, then by the time you've done a couple of hundred listings you'd be able to buy a CS for free lol

If you've never owned a 911, I understand the lust. The marque has been in my garage, on and off, for 50 years. There is nothing like an air cooled 911.

Water cooled, modern Porsches are still Porsches and drive wonderfully. I've also owned a few "modern" 911's, including a Turbo. You can drive them everyday, everywhere and they really come into their own to travel and take trips in.

But I've been down that road. The CS is quite different, which is why I was and am attracted to it. It feels special, drives specially and is regarded as such. 911's are just way too big for my tastes these days.

Of course, I still own an old 911, but I'm keeping the CS.

I didn't drive my CS for a few days. I'm on a list for a ZR1. I thought maybe I'd consider trading in when the time came. Drove the CS and said nope, ZR1 must be an addition.

Not sure I'm selling honestly. Have driven it some lately and remember why it so good, plus I just sold 1M.

Margins are huge on high end used cars right now, especially Porsches, some M cars and high end trucks/SUVs. You'll get good money for the CS, but pay big money for the next car so it's a bit of a wash.

I still believe the CS will hold while other cars will eventually fall back to reality. Porsches seem to be essentially bulletproof investments, unless it's a cab or a non GT PDK car.

I sold it to a good friend who called "dibs" the first day I got it. Plus, he builds my race cars AND I have first right of refusal if he sells it.

That’s why they are not interested.
They want more Porsches so they can keep the high mark up going…

Go big or go home. Please post some pics of that c8R. Wife and I want a convertible z06. However the list is 200+ long. There was no ZR1 list so they talked to whomever blesses the lists and added me as #1. My guess is the ZR1 allocation will come up prior to the z06. Dilemma. From a financial standpoint the ZR1 will be a better buy. I'm concerned that some character will be lost when compared to the z06.

You are wrong on almost every assumption! Z06 will be out next year in the fall. ZR-1(if any), no idea. I think you are either talking E-ray which I'm on list for or Zora. E-ray will be Z06 wide body with 6.2 push rod and electric motors up front or Xora with 5.5 flat plane and electric motors.

Nice looking car. Z06 is almost out but some dealerships have a very long wait-list. I suspect I'll wait 2yrs before a z06 allocation will come up. The e-ray is supposed to slot in where the GC used to be. I have my choice between Eray and zr1. I want the FPC motor, which unfortunately eliminates the Eray even though it's likely better suited to my use. The Zr1 is supposed to be a forced induction FPC motor. Zora is supposed to have Zr1 motor with added electric motors

Even tho it won't be a track car for me, I still prefer NA over forced. I always thought Grandsport was best bang for buck(and track). Same reason I just ordered a Camaro SS 1LE rather then ZL1.

Considering downsizing a bit. What do ya'll think would be a fair price for the following.

CS Hockenheim Silver 6MT
75XX Miles
Full Front, Roof + Rocker PPF + Full Ceramic
Carbon Ceramic Brakes
Gold Wheels
Full Akrapovic EVO Link Pipe, Exhaust, Sound Kit

Excellent Condition
