Turbosmart BOV and MST Inlet Pipe DIY

Hey guys, I did some work with a friend of mine and we installed the Turbosmart BOV and MST Turbo Inlet pipe on my M2. Figured the info could be helpful here!

Good work! Got my garage to do it, they took about four and a half hours to do intercooler, charge pipe, DV and MST inlet.

They thought there was thread lock on OE DV valve but from your video maybe it was corrosion. They said the top most screw was harder to get to due to the solid line in the way.

They're excellent mechanics though and car runs soo sweetly with the mods now. Stock tune.

Thanks! How much did that run you? My shop was asking ~$700 for both but after the install I can better understand why haha.
It could very well be thread-lock, it looked sort of like it but we also found some black gunk just inside the turbo where the new inlet pipe sits.
For sure, the top screw was a bitch and that line was not helpful at all!

Your US rates are nuts. I paid about £220 from memory. Bargain and I wouldn't have even contemplating doing any of it.
