I answered you in another thread, but I'll answer it here too.

I have a set, I have not installed it. (I'll be doing it at the same time I do my valve cover gasket) It does require a tune for them to work properly.

I considered a N52 exhaust cam, but that seems significantly more involved.

The MILVS have been proven to make some power as shown in other forums, the N52 cams in the N55 were debunked to not make any power.

Edit- I said N54 exhaust cams.

I can’t say about the exhaust cam, but I do know of a 600whp N55 with both the MILVS and exhaust cam.

Interesting, was it the one on youtube? Because that was the one claiming to make 100 whp extra with the n52 cams and that was debunked because his tune changed.

IMO MILVS are worth doing, but cams not so much.

Yea, I remember reading about MILVs a few years ago and that was the same conclusion I got out of it.

Yup, for me it was MILVS gets you about 5-10 whp or more, and the N52 cam does nothing.

On a N/A car, yeah. I’m really hoping for gains (35whp) in the higher rev range like the S55 got.

They tested it (MILVS) on an NA car and a turbo version of the NA car.

I don't recall the s55 getting that much of a gain, but if it did that's awesome. Was it with the MILVS alone?

Looking forward to your results. Any idea when you plan on installing them?

Maybe a month or two at the most - buying some other parts to do a tune up, and then baseline dyno - then tune.
