Which hood did you go with. I think 100% best cosmetic upgrade on this car. It fits the m2 much better the m3/4 due to the hips on the m2.

My buddy just got an m8 on lease and is still jealous of the more aggressive looks. He’s looking into wide body kits now lol.

I totally agree
I went with the Suvneer aluminum GTS hood
It arrives tomorrow and goes to the body shop for paint immediately
I’ll post pics ASAP

Nice. I’m almost certain it’s the same hood I have (from alibabba though) Just make sure you comb the whole thing for small little dents, and mark them so you shop doesn’t over look them. Mine had a few on arrival in tricky places, but a good body shop will have no problem making it perfect.

I definitely recommend over paying for a high quality job that’s at least 5 costs as well.

I saw another one at a car meet a few weeks ago and it looked terrible. You could see fish eyes all over in the direct light, the color match was off and the clear looked streaky... and the guy told me he paid 400 for the job.

A quality paint job on this shouldn’t cost less then 6-800. I did 2 coats color wet on wet.... 3 coats clear... looks factory. Good luck!

Looks great and the fitment is spot on. I was on the fence about the GTS hood but this may have convinced me.

Can you post some close up pics of the hood fitment?

Compared to OEM where do you rate the fit?

Seems most people couldn't get the hood flush with the front fender. Any tips to share? Thanks

Lots of pics on my instagram see below
My suggestion would be - ensure you go to a top notch body shop for the best quality paint match and have them install it. They are the pros and it’s the biggest panel on the car it needs to be lined up perfectly! They said it was a easy but they are experts.. I’ve done many things myself but being a perfectionist I had to leave this install with them

Thanks so much!
It’s awesome when vendors make such awesome aftermarket parts that fit like OEM!

Makes the build process so much fun!
