Man, funny what love will do to you. I love this car so much, here's what's happened, that's NEVER happened until the M2C:

1. I've hand-washed a car for the first time in 20+ years. The last time I washed a car was probably as a junior in high school, for a fund-raiser. (And, BlkSVT , before you inevitably ask, no, I wasn't wearing a bikini like in "Bring It On")

2. As a mechanically challenged Asian, I learned how to pry open my center console, broken apart some gadget that isn't meant to be broken apart like that, to replace the bottom bracket on the wireless charger to fit the iPhone XS Max. I even learned how to put together different nuts and bolts and used screw drivers and hex wrenches to put on a tow hook license plate mount. It's like I'm overcoming my Asian handicap!

3. I vacuum'ed the inside of the car. I have never vacuumed a car. In college, I borrowed my cousin's Supra for a week, and after I returned it, he just turned away disgusted and wouldn't talk to me. Later, my aunt told me, "You know, when you use someone else's car for a week, you don't leave wrappers everywhere, and if you eat chips like a pig, you vacuum up the crumbs."

Damn, I love this car!

Your response made me think of Eddie Murphy in Trading Places...

Here are details and pics.

1. Nano-ceramic film
2. 80% on front windshield
3. 50% on driver's side and passenger side front windows
4. 20% on rear 3 windows

I think it really contrasts well with HS. Also, keeps the cabin much cooler!
The black exhaust makes such a difference, it is ridiculous! I am sending mine to be ceramic coated in matte black and cannot wait to see the final result.

You are a LEGEND! Hope the headache goes away

I bought a set of the door seals after hearing about them on this thread. I found one “guide” online to install them, pictures were helpful but that was about the extent of it. Not sure if it was just me but I found them fairly hard to install. I can see it being ok if you have tiny hands. Also, guarantee someone pinches there hand in the door installing these. I’m not even 100% sure they are in correct.

Do you think they did anything? I'm still on the fence trying to decide if I want to buy them.

I put them in last night and then put the car back in the garage. I have a feeling they will make a difference. I think someone previously mentioned this, when I was installing I could see the headlight shining through the gap. There isn’t much there to stop noise coming into the cabin. I’ll let you know if I can tell a difference.

Thanks :-) The headlight shining through is pretty telling.

Hey guys, am planning to purchase both the IND front reflectors and rear reflectors (attached). But... uh... anybody know of anyone good in San Diego area who will do installation?

Probably gonna get roasted for not doing installation myself, but... again... I'm Asian, and you know, we're not exactly well known for mechanical aptitude. I can make a MEAN chow mein. Like, seriously, my chow mein is the S***. But, you know, installing car parts... not so much.

Any help would be highly appreciated!!!

Next time you're up in the LA area just have EAS do it for you!

OMG! That's right! Giving them a call tomorrow morning. Ordering from them and having them install. That's a total no brainer!

I don't know why I had that brain fart. Thanks, man.

Coded „easy entry" (think that's what it is called) using bimmercode expert mode.

When i enter the car the driver seat moves automatically backwards to enable an easy entry. Once door is closed and start button is pressed seat automatically goes forward to normal seating position.

Same happens when i press start button to turn off the car, seat moves back again to enable an easy exit.

What a wonderfull thing to code

That's a cool coding mod. I hope it doesn't wear out the electric motor

I got mine installed by EAS as well. I got the rear reflector matched with paint too. Now I feel the rear is too plain...

Ordered the parts and was told it would be sometime in the next week or so to do install.

Yeah, I really like the Acexxon horizontal slat rear reflector insert. Every picture I've seen, they seem to provide really nice contrast.

Come on, man! You know you want to do it!
