with these rates, just curious, anyone out there leasing? I'm torn between leasing and financing. Just curious if anyone could justify leasing at these rates besides business write-offs. Thanks

I've got a quote for the following (in Canadian dollars):

"MSRP": $73,495.00
Adjustment: ($2,000.00)
Options: $2,290.00
Financed Amount: $73,785.00

Residual: $41,157.20 (56%)
Term: 45 months
Interest Rate: 5.9% (0.0024584 MF)

Lease Payment: $1,007.40
After Tax: $1,158.26

Looking at the residuals being quoted elsewhere, this is a pretty good deal other than the interest rate.

That said, BMW.ca is currently quoting an MSRP of $71,250.
Then again, BMW.ca is currently quoting a lease interest rate of 7.99%.

I'm surprised the residual continues to be so low compared to past M cars.

BMW will sell every M2/M2C they can build, so there's no need for them to subsidize their leases with boosted residuals or to assume any back-end valuation risk. To date, there hasn't actually been any valuation risk as M2 values have held up very well, but that doesn't change BMW's position - if the cars are selling on their own there's no need to give anything away.

Safe to assume all potential buyers of a 2020 M2C will be paying MSRP?

Was looking at a Hockenheim Silver M2 comp at South Bay BMW and they wanted 15K above MSRP. They brought it down to 10K above MSRP because I have an M car

Is a loyalty rebate/credit available? If so, what is the amount?

Thanks.

Thanks. I know about the CCA rebate, but with the F8X M3/4, there was an additional loyalty rebate ($1000) for current BMW owners.

I don't know about the m2c but the 18's I looked at last month had a $750 bmw loyalty discount that would be applied.
