Also, where were you able to order the axle-back from? Thanks!
I haven't been able to gauge performance too much as I have not had the chance to have a spirited drive with it yet (been busy at work), but the sound is definitely a huge improvement. It is much deeper. I really like the S55 sound and still carries the character of the engine, but it is definitely more aggressive. Driving with in sport plus (valves open much of the time) is really enjoyable. IMO the Akrapovic is worth every penny, and I'm excited to pair it with the midpipe too in the future.

As for acquiring one, I would reach out to Mike @ extreme power house (XPH) - he is an active member on the forums. He typically offers forum discounts and XPH customer service was generally pretty good. If you're in the Bay Area, I would recommend going to Performance Technic for the install if you're not familiar with them already

Also took the opportunity to clean the calipers with the wheels off. The new wheels feel light if that makes sense.
Beautiful! What kind of wheels?

I just installed my stock wheels with a touch of powder coat.

I dented my front left track wheel. Waiting for apex to make 19 inch forged wheels.

HM, was the install easy? Does it just overlay on top of existing parts?

The 641's aren't light, but winter is winter. No idea when I'll actually put them on the car...it's not cold enough during the day yet.

I will be letting the foam cannon loose shortly. My poor baby is FILTHY.
I hate to say it, but if you paid $3k+ for 641m (with tires) that is criminal. You could get so much better wheels for so much less.

With that said, I put mine on today lol. Picked up the set for $1600

Created a thread to keep track of what gets done to the car. Probably should've started in June '19 but I had no idea things would change this much in 18 months. Check it out.

It's relatively easy. Ans it's complete replacement to the OEM bezels that are in. I'll be putting together a DIY in the next few days

Uh. That was in 2018. There are options now that weren't there in 2018.

Not that I was happy paying that much in 2018, either. :-)

What did I do to my M2C today? Discovered my tuning plans were out the window as my car is an October 2020 build with the latest encrypted Bosch ECU DME. I know this has been mentioned on here before, anyone know if anyones cracked this yet? Apart from that the car is a beaut!

Today I fitted a M performance spoiler and diffuser! Tomorrow I'll tackle the front and rear winglets.

Both were easy to install apart from spending an hour removing the old tape residue. Didn't get any pics of the diffuser install yet.

Man took off the old factory lip spoiler and took me 2 hrs to remove the old tape, such a pain in the ass , dont understand why the car came with useless spoiler , Bmw should give an option to customers to either not get the lip spoiler or get mperformance spoiler at the time of build will save a lot of hassle removing the old useless one

BTW I feel car looks better without a spoiler

Should I install the M performance one?
