INSANE BMW S55 One Piece Crank Hub **NEW PRODUCT**
We are happy to introduce the newest crank hub on the market! Want to add more hp but Worried about spinning your crank hub? We have a Solution! Our Single Crank Hub kits are designed and manufactured in Lithuania and made from a solid block of thermally absorbed, heat treated steel and milled on a 5 axis precision CNC machine to create what we believe to be the strongest crank hub kit on the market today! Our crank hub is offered in a 2 pin and upgraded 4 pin design for those looking push their S55 to the limits while having greater peace of mind. Please keep in mind neither version has had a known failure with 300+ vehicles on the road today and counting. Our crank hub has also been tested up to 1000whp without issue. This kit includes all the necessary components to successfully replace the stock OEM crank hub with our single piece crank hub. Our kit now includes Hardened crankshaft damper bolts at no additional charge. Ive heard numerous people even complain about spun hubs on stock power but then I've also found those same people to be lying and have actually tuned their car (just didn't want to be caught out for warranty purposes). It's impossible to know for sure. To be safe I would say the general consensus is stick to stock and keep your warranty as long as you can and if you tune, at all, get your crank hub fixed. If not this method, a capture plate at minimum. Anything above stage 1 then go the full hog. |

That's my personal opinion but I have no data to back it up. I have seen this part fail even on stock cars.

There have been more than a few people who've had crank hub slip with stage 1 tune. It seems to be more prevalent on DCT cars but still happens on manual.
It's an expensive upgrade but the down side is huge. Once it is installed the s55 is extremely robust and takes to large power upgrades very well. |
