I have driven a black car for 7 years, silver car for 14 years, Sterling Gray/Imola Red E46 M3 6MT for 18 years. I wanted to get a nice blue or red this time.

Misano is horrible (I have seen it in person). Put it on a Kia for shock effect. It is worse than Laguna Seca Blue.

You think I would park a Misano Blue M2 CS next to the wife's San Marino Blue F80 M3 CS???? Can you imagine how much more ugly the M2 would look??

VERY disappointed in the uninspired color offerings.

I am pretty sure it's a wrap. It looks almost exactly like Porsche Mexico Blue though.

At the very first moment of seeing the M2 CS, a petrolhead friend standing right next to me immediately said: "Wow, that's quite a thing. But I would never order it in this color." And I replied in disbelief: "Oh BMW, please why this color for car and wheels ?".

I think it would look great if you opt for the CCBs and if BMW offers another color stitching.

But blue car with red calipers and red seat stitching is a TERRIBLE idea. The only color I'd get the CS in with all that red would be hockenheim silver.

I concur. Great wheels - wrong color finish.

Shot this one back in 2017 in full flight from the passenger seat: surrounded by some kind of Misano Blue.

Yes, the MB in person is very underwhelming.....starting to think that maybe Classic Alpine White Maybe the way to go 🤔🤔🤔

Agreed! Ok, now I'm seriously annoyed!

CS cars should have special colors!

Misano was never exclusive anyway, it first appeared on the X2 I think.

Since the F87 2er is produced in Leipzig, I'd not expect much in terms of paint.

Ok, so looking through a car magazine here in Spain. EVO....and there are a couple of Blues in there with the 1 series MB. So, are these Blurs gaining in popularity?

I guess my question to you guys at this point is do you think MB is going to be the 'IT' Color for the M2cs??? If not now, maybe in a few years?!!

I saw a new M135i in MB at my local dealer last week. It was awful 🤢
At the end, the only option for me is to buy the CS in black, so to hide the “fast and furious” carbon parts and the moustache grill. Sad ☹️

The M2C’s front bumper and grille are the best thing to happen to the M2’s looks..

Also, MB is going to rock on the CS.

My thoughts exactly. LBB is so much nicer.

Misano is probably closer to Voodoo Blue. It's not really as light or punchy as Mexico, or as dark as Santorini.

M2 Clown Specification... The Non-M color of the X2 and Z4 on your limited edition M2 product...

How in the world can they put a M color on the M2, a M color of the M2C and decided to put that the same color as my mum's X2 on a limited edition M product and communicate it with red calipers and gold wheels.

Under which stone have they been sleeping... At least we should be happy it doesn't look like the new M3 and M4 with its beaver grille and body colored plastic section in the diffuser.

I'm not sure... I think the color is the least of the things to complain about here. It's not like Hockenheim Silver is a super exciting color. I've seen Misano in person and it's decent.

In reality, it's probably just because they need to pick a launch color they haven't used before... so LBB and HS are out, but it needs to be a color that Leipzig can paint because BMW is unwilling to bear the cost of painting them off the normal production line. I bet this car would have been painted San Marino Blue if it were produced with the 4er.

Be glad they didn't pick Galvanic Gold.

Personally I love Misano Blue. Would have ordered it on my M2C if that was an option.
