CEL after Full Akra install

I installed a full Akraprovic Exhaust and DP 3 weeks ago. No issues till today. Threw a CEL after i gunned it kinda hard right after startup. I only went up to about 5K RPM's in 1st and 2nd when the CEL threw. I only drive about 1 mile to and from work. Should i wait and drive it for an extended drive and get the CAT hot before i start looking at the gasket's/O2 sensors/etc. I've talked to a few people with the same set-up and they've said they have never had any issues with the downpipe throwing CEL's so I'm assuming it's not that but could be a gasket didn't take well or the guy doing the install fucked one of the sensors or something of the sort.

Anyone else have their's go away after a long trip?

I don't have a code reader yet. I'm working on getting one now.

Did you install a catless downpipe? Do you have a tune? Otherwise the engine will throw a check engine if you dont have something clearing the light for the catless downpipe.

There is no sensors that would cause that in the exhaust other than in the downpipe OR the valves in the back of the exhaust could have an issue.

But yes code reader would be the ideal.

Check the O2 sensors, make sure they are installed correctly, not damaged or dirty

Thanks for the suggestions. I used a friends code reader.

Code: P10EA This is for an outside temperature sensor. I guess nothing to do with the exhaust like i thought.

To the dealer I go. Least it's not something I have to worry about from the exhaust.
