Look what showed up today!
I ordered from Costco on Sunday, it was shipped yesterday, and delivery was initially scheduled for Thursday. This morning I got a notification from UPS that everything was going to be delivered between 9:00 am - 1:00 pm today! UPS showed up at 10:00 AM, so less than 24 hours from shipping to delivery. Not too surprising because the QuickJack offices are only 176 miles away. Now to start assembly and setup! Still on sale at Costco.com for $999.99 with free shipping until 2/28: https://www.costco.com/QuickJack-5%2...100460313.html

A co-worker just pulled the trigger and got this at HomeDepot. So I checked Costco and they're running this promo again for $999. Good through today, but clearly this keeps coming around.

I don’t think you technically need them, but I have them anyways. You’ll also get 2 sizes of rubber blocks to raise the car, one smaller and one taller. I did raise the car with just the rubber blocks and saw no ill effects or warping of the jackpoint. As for hydraulic fluid I just used ATF Mercon V.

I went to Walmart and bought the cheapest compliant ATF fluid. It was really cheap. |

Received a QuickJack for Christmas a few years ago. Never had the confidence to use it on my Camaro 1LE due to clearance issues but it works well with my M2 and my sons E36 M3. Had my wife's CX-5 in the air with it too.
I use Berger jack point adapters with the small rubber blocks that came with the QuickJack. |

I will say though, that with an M car that is basically 50/50 weight balance... I am not sure it would matter. Still, the manual states the correct way (suggested way). |

Also pro tip. Careful with the hood and the height of the vehicle. I lifted the car over the weekend to change the oil and wasn't paying attention. Dodged a bullet as the car was half outside. I was so concerned with the bottom of the car and making sure I have blocks and lock bars right I nearly put the hood into my garage door. About a foot back and I'd be buying a new hood and garage door.
