Yeah, but I haven't heard anything regarding HS slowing down production.

I ordered HS and I was bumped from 40 to 33 but that was for ED timing. I doubt color has much to do with production dates.

It has in the past. BMW put a stop on all Sakhir Orange M4 cars in 2016 and made the color unavailable for a period of time. They then fixed the paint issue and replaced the color with: Sakhir Orange II if memory serves me.

Wow, they must have messed up the color. That would mean that HS was halted. I haven't heard anything about that from the ones coming off of the assembly line.
I was basing my judgement by what the technician said to me when I was on the factory tour in Munich. He was bragging about how fast they could change colors on the line.

Maybe it's a supply chain issue. Who knows. Maybe they are just moving the schedule around.

Our local (TX) dealer said they had 7 people on the wait list ahead of us when I inquired about an allocation right after the news broke that the '19 M2C would be available.

Haven't heard a peep since. But I called around to other states/stores, and found a SA who kept me on his radar and we jumped on the 1st or 2nd allocation his store (in NH) received.

No, BMW does this time to time depending on the formula of a specific color. The formula of Sakhir Orange had become not environmentally friendly anymore (probably according to some EU law of some sort again) and they had to change the formula. The same thing happened with Estoril Blue too years ago. The current name of that color is Estoril Blue 2 just like Sakhir Orange 2. I also remember reading SCOTT26 mentioning in of his posts that BMW removed Interlagos Blue because similarly it wasn't environmentally friendly anymore.

HS is a brand new formula in BMW's lineup and I'm sure BMW plans these things well in advance so I would be very surprised if these production week changes are caused by a new color such as HS.

I got pushed from week 37 to 38 but at the time my color choice was AW so I doubt it has anything to with color but who knows

I changed mine to HS as of this morning so we'll see if it'll get pushed back even more.
