2018 LCi Awron

Hi all,
Just a FYI if any lci guys are installing the awron. They have not updated the install instructions for lci on their website. On pre lci con 10 pin 3 is used for the blue connector wire. Lci do not have a pin 3 on con 10. The blue connector wire goes to conn 8 pin 53(yellow wire). Hope this helps. Thanks Active Autowerke for the the Awron guage and all other M2 goodies

Took me 45 minutes to do. The instructions on Awrons website are very thorough. Only missing the correct location for this 1 wire. They responded to me very quickly to sort it out.

THANK YOU SO MUCH
I was almost done with the install on my 2018 and ran into this... Wish AWRON would update their instructions. I'm going to go cross-link to this post from the other thread where we were talking about the LCI version.

Anyone know the specs of the plastic end connectors or where to purchase additional ones? Haven't received a response from Awron

Does the gauge cluster have anything to do with the rearrangement of the pins on the LCI car? Reason I ask is I retrofitted the LCI gauge cluster in my 17' and just purchased an AWRON which I'm hoping to install soon!

Gauge cluster has nothing to do with operation of the Awron unit.

Can you choose what values are displayed or is it only what they choose to put together?

i.e. Oil Temp, Pressure, IAT on 1 screen?

Here's the M4 Awron unit in action, identical to the M2 in operation:

Can you tell me more about the Service mode at the end of the video? Does that happen every time you plug something into the OBD port? Wondering if that will prevent seeing the gauge plus having the OBD reader send data to Harry's Lap Timer or Track Addict or AiM...Thanks!

If the Awron senses a device in the OBD2 port, it will go into service mode.

You can place the Awron into Passive mode, in which it will turn off CAN monitoring and allow a ODB2 device to be used, but will not see any diagnostic info on the display. Only one device can access that CAN address at a time.

Yes you can cycle through all data. I have had Awron do a custom file for me on my M4GTS to be able to keep ex valves closed at all times if selected(track dB compliant). Typically they open at 4500 rpm even in closed mode.

If only it had a full screen without the borders on the sides.
