Part of the allocations for the CS will be based on how well M2's sell at your dealership. If you've got 4 of them kicking around without any buyers, that does not bode well to getting a CS allocation.

I was told they still show them as sold as so BMW N/A can't claw them back. Not sure if BMW can see that they would still have inventories?

If they're marking them as sold that is an extremely illegal practice and could have serious repercussions for the dealer. I honestly hope they're not doing this, because sooner or later they'll be reported.

And regardless, BMW still knows how long they're sitting in the lot.

PS: as a fun FYI, BMW North America only applies to the USA. BMW Canada handles Canada, they're completely separate entities that don't even talk to each other. Same goes for Mexico...I guess someone needs to let BMW know the definition of North America.

Thanks for the clarification, doesn't seem efficient to have 2 office for Canada and US but at the end of the day we are paying for it.

I know for a fact that when Tom Purves was the president of BMWNA,Canada was under the control of BMWNA in New Jersey.Canada had its own separate headquarters but they were still a subsidiary of BMWNA.Tom Purves used to come up to Canada at various times of the year.

This old press release shows that sales for North,Central and South America were controlled by BMWNA in New Jersey.
