Dashcam - battery pack
Anyone using a battery pack to power the dash cam? (Blackvue, cellink etc.)
I can't find any info on whether the battery pack has a built in system that stops charging from the 12v plug when the car is turned off. If it keeps charging then the car's battery will eventually go flat. This kinda defeats the whole purpose of an extra battery... |

Yeah... this is what I feared Long story short, the battery (if loaded) will just provide 8-9 hours of charge to the dashcam but will also be depleting the car's battery at the same time, correct? Have you considered this (link below) to facilitate the process? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |

I have an extra 12v plug under the glove box and am planning on connecting from there, are you using this port by any chance? |
