Official photos = computer generated images presenting features like digital cluster which they cannot provide any confirmation on whether or when will be available in your market, if ever. There's an actual car showcasing these features with 43,000kms already.. brilliant.

Same thing with all the 4 series LCI pics that you get with a Google search. North America is the biggest market no? Why are we always the last inline for the roll out of the latest features?

That's the way it should've been from the beginning. Beautiful white on black and bigger, clearer! Just wish they would've brought back the temp gauge but the previous one was poor for a sports car. Still, this is a huge improvement!

Minor changes for the sake of change. This could've been a lot worse for current owners. This is a big win for MY16&17 owners.

A pleasant surprise on this LCI is the dash redesign. The vents, control unit and radio are all flush to the surface now. Same with the upper and lower dash where they meet each other which wasn't the case on the current model. The video screen also looks better intergrated, at least better than before. A little plain but overall just a cleaner look which I prefer. The headlights and taillights are just different, not so much better. Matter of preference really. The rears can give the impression of the car being a little wider due to the horizontal "bar in the middle. I'll take it. I have no choice since my car won't come till the fall.

There's also a new character line low in the door, from the front fender to the rear fender.
Kind of like the "sow line" in the 1-Seres, but far less ugly.

exactly I may be biased since I moved to Audi but come on at least a digital cluster and more refinements. moving to the S3 is night and day difference from BMW quality..Virtual cockpit FTW (displays maps, music..EVEN a BOOST GAUGE)

Because that's all what you want in a car right? Just a beautiful interior and terrible driving... Buy a Tesla, you get a Ipad Pro included.

New instrumentation is the only thing that interests me on the LCI, highly doubt it can be retrofitted on the current model though.

I don't like the faux stitching on the dash. Otherwise everything else is minor changes.
