I actually agree. The LCI doesn't do it for me so glad I picked mine up when I did.

Just the gauge cluster is my only pet peeve given where I live given how difficult it is to read in low light conditions.

Do the exterior edges look softer? It seems a bit less aggressive in these pics. I may just need some sleep...

Those headlights look unfinished..its just wierd..same for the dashboard trim, it stops in the middle and doesn't connect to the passenger air vent.

But the new gauge cluster and the tail lights being led are nice. All said and done, a very weak lci. Not that anyone was expecting anything other than that anyway.

That was in the narrative in the overview document. There was nothing in the 37-page Technical Data PDF about the M2.

Great upgrades overall imo especially getting rid of the funky dash - the new one is much more inline with M3/4 styling.

LED headlight and tails looks MUCH better as well.

This is a great Lci!

Here's to hoping for a bright future of similar Lci strategy.

Doesn't burn the first year adopters who are many times the real enthusiasts while incentivizing ownership and at the same time keeps things fresh.

Cup holders look smaller and have a sliding cover. Good thing I have a pre-LCI, how else would I carry large smoothies?

Don't think the M2 is for you. It's not expensive enough.

I'm not a fan of the new angular halo lights, I really liked the circular ones. I haven't ordered my M2 yet but I wonder how long do I have to place an order for the old style before the new style is the default

Current owners/orderers are saying meh no big deal. LCI ordering people are saying nice updates. Curious what a neutral person thinks. My pre-LCI will be here in a month and although I don't have the car yet I can say I kinda like the new LCI gauges. The rest is no big deal.

Seems like a pretty good effort to update things without completely alienating current M2 owners. Too bad BMW sill doesn't see fit to put an oil temp gauge in. Those who were expecting the LCI to contain a carbon fiber roof, M mirrors or S55 are delusional. Will have to wait for the M2 CS for these things. And since the majority or these cars are not tracked, who really cares? I like it that M is still trying to keep it simple for this model.
