MPE + Fabspeed Sport Cat

installed the sport cat this weekend sounds badass with the MPE

there is a more aggressive tone, love just starting the car or even revving it when stuck in traffic it is just pure goodness

It comes on and off very sporadically. The error is bank 1, cat efficiency. Interestingly, I noticed it more when I open the valve on a cold engine.

possibly vband issue, they can be tempermental. Could be leaky when cold but as exhaust heats up it expands and closes the gap. Otherwise sounds like a faulty cat unless the o2 sensor was damaged or not threaded all the way in.

How is the sound level of the Fabspeed+MPE when the MPE flaps are closed? My wife drives the M2 regularly and she'll complain if it's too loud. Lol

I wonder how the fabspeed sport cat compares to the akra. Does anyone know how many cells are in the stock downpipe between 400 or 500?

I believe the stock one is 2 section one 200 and one 400 (not sure about this one)

Correct - 2 chambers

Primary chamber (nearest turbo) 400cpi
Secondary chamber (downstream of 2nd O2 sensor) 200cpi

I can’t describe how amazing this sounds with the DP. The car definitely pulls harder and gears are longer. That was something I didn’t feel with the stock exhaust and DP. Definitely is a drone like everybody mentioned in the 3K RPM. I want to keep it like for a couple days because they said to give it time. If the drone continues I got the stock resonator, the dealer cut it for me, and it’s the same size. But again this is an amazing sound and power definitely because of the DP.

More torque feel longer to me.. the car got more pull I can see a feel a big difference

Put it in sport or sport+, 2nd or 3th gear at 3000 rpm. Full throttle, release throttle and put it directly in traction. Loud gunshots

The Catbypass will throw a CEL but the sport cat will not. The sport cat is the way to go almost all of the sound none of the CEL headaches.
