Yeah, it does. But, I am thinking that maybe later on that they may add the S55 (wishful thinking?). The M4 MotoGP Safety Car had the water injection system, so who is to say that later on down the road they may not test the S55 in the M2 MotoGp Safety Car?

Looks brilliantly. Only a few more parts here and there, all in all not much we did not know yet. My list of parts has not changed. Still good to hear the MPE, but I am going for an Akrapovic. I want the full thing from front to back, not just a slip-on.
Parts list: - Carbon wing mirrors (M Performance part) or aftermarket M-style rear view mirrors €460 - Black gloss trim grilles €250 - Black side M gill elements €125 - Carbon fiber rear spoiler €380 - Carbon side sill attachments €940 - Rear diffusor in carbon €1030 - M Performance steering wheel with shift lights and Race Display - Carbon M-DKG gear selector lever - Carbon handbrake lever - Stainless steel pedal covers Only problem I have is that need a decent talk with my wallet and bank account. Damn those parts aren't cheap! Total price is like 5K for all this stuff... I am going to spend close to 15K on upgrades if I am adding wheels and an exhaust to it as well. Uh, let's go back to work MR |

I have pre ordered the following parts for my M2 (confirmed delivery middle of april):
- Black gloss trim grilles - Black side M gill elements - Carbon fiber rear spoiler - Axle back M-Performance exhaust with titanium tips Wondering about adding the carbon diffuser, but that's a really sick price. Is it worth to wait for aftermarket parts maybe? |

Keeping mine unmolested, for now!
There doesn't seem to be any ROI on these parts in regards to cost/performance.

6 seconds slower than an M4 that has 60 (at least, see underrated S55) more HP and weighs what, 70 lbs more? 6 seconds is negligible on such a long track with long straights that benefits a high HP car such as the M4.

According to BMW the M4 weights 2kg more than the M2.

2kg, 70 lbs, whatever. It's the difference between a half tank of gas or a fat driver. The fact is, the M2 made it around a 20km course <1% slower than the M4. There's no denying the car's capabilities.

All jokes aside, the stock exhaust sounds quite good. And I'm betting those pipes (for a damned axle back) are going to be in the $2500 range.

nice!
for me I would miss off the side stripe and lettering on the sill. keep the //M colour stripes on front and rear only - no side. also the stripes only work on AW - don't think they would look too good on LBB or MG - maybe the black as well

I wish, so badly, BMW would quit it with the ///M stripes already.
Fun Story: ///Marketing department lead is looking at an example of the M2 and suddenly goes: "I've got it!" Hours later. It's beautiful, I think, should we post this? Of course! We're BMW ///Marketing, it'll be a hit. The World: GTFO

Now then...if we had an option to delete that incredibly tacky dash display then we have something.
I drove an M235 and I was constantly distracted by that thing in my peripheral vision. |
