Production ready BMW M2 spotted in Alpine White

I think that it will look great in AW, as all BMW's do. But seeing as my 135i was white I think that I am going Mineral Grey.

These fenders do not look the same as for the curvature;

IMHO the fenders have the wrong curvature, not like the 1M, but just the opposite.

It makes it a little saggy IMHO

the question is why are they using an n55 instead of a modified b58... i find the m2 being underbuilt big time to not approach m4 territory.. shuda had the m4 engine or some new 5 cyl turbo or some shit but not the n55 thats probably already maxed out by bmw software wise.

Regarding the B58, my guess would be that the B58 wasn't far enough along in development to be worked in to this car.

As for the rest:

BMW doesn't make an I5 engine, so there's no platform to use there.

Like you said, an S55 would threaten the F80/F82.

The possibility of an S20 was flushed because of the market research (apparently).

I'm as unhappy as anyone about the N55, but I'm willing to wait until the car arrives to judge it. I would really have preferred their market research include a little more detail, like "S-designated I4 vs N-designated I6" rather than a straight "I4 vs I6" question.

all white backlit gauges and temp/radio controls.
moonroof
18" m2 specific wheels
nav standard
cowl hood or power dome
m mirrors
m gills on fenders

imo though, the back seems unfinished like the m4. I actually hate the back of the m4

I don't think a CF roof is coming on this version. I think a CSL/GTS is in the mix as a 2018 model.

The M3 had race cred from the outset. This M2 NEEDS to race and needs to win. If marketed right, it's the new M division sales leader.

With no 'proper' S engine, it's obviously designed to be profitable. Add some colors and make some money!!! (and by colors, I mean Red, or Sahkir. Not 5 shades of gray)

Also, Blue stitching deserves Blue seat belts. IMO.

Bespoke front and rear end
Balanced chassis and good handling characteristics

Let's see if you're saying the same thing when the camo comes off. Because there's a hell of a lot being hidden.

For the people who haven't been following this car daily for the last 4 months, you have missed a lot about how aggressive this car will look.
