I agree, it seems to be the exact same hood as the m235i. It would be nice, but I think there are plenty of other visual cues that differentiate the 2 models.

I hope it wont be a drift machine, but balanced... We have the M4 for oversteer madness. I wish they could balance it perfectly.

Re the story, I think it will be more like the M4 side vent and not the M6 or X5/6.

If we look at that top line coming from the top, to the gap in the camo, it doesn't look too disimilar from the vent on the M4

Based on the way the antenna was mounted or on the reflection of the paint, anyway to determine if this is a sheet metal or CFRP trunk?

Nope, been checking all the pics from the very beginning to see if there is any differentiation in the antenna and I've honestly found none.
I honestly think if we were to see a CF roof, there would have been camo on it as it was with the M3/M4/M6.
Have noticed a few pics of cars well into their production form though without camo on their roofs and what look to be steel skins without any sunroof.

Ah, SCOTT26 throws us a couple of bones, BMW just spins the M2 test mule a few laps around the race track and *BAM*... frenzy time ! BMW must enjoy the attention. Things might go ballistic at Bimmerpost the day that pics of a camo-free M2 pics are released.

But it could feature a version albeit with less power of the M4 GTS innovative Water Injection Technology to make the more harder edged M cars stand out.

But here is something new . Why are the front seats covered?
