not the most elagant fix, you can probably just get a zip tie and just tie the coolant light just close enough where it doesnt touch the charge pipe or each other. The heat from the coolant line will probably eventually wear out the zip tie in a few yrs but i think that ok for $0.01 fix.

Or you can get a piece of old heater hose, slice about 2 inches off it and split the cut piece down the side. Open it up and slide around the coolant pipe where it touches the intercooler pipe. Friction will hold it in place. I've used that method countless times and never had a rub through even after being there for years.

Loosen the bolt by the coupler closest to the throttle body then try and rotate the charge pipe counter clockwise at the throttlebody....shouldn't be touching anything else.

P.S.

Make sure to remove the c-clip at the throttle body first, rotate till nothing is touching then reinstall.

I didn't install it myself but the workshop told me they encountered this and had to use some sort of heat resistant rubber shield to protect against this contact. I'm also in a RHD vehicle.

I encountered a similar issue when I installed my do88 charge pipe and wagner evo 1 competition IC.

The charge pipe touches another line pretty close to the IC outlet. The do88 charge pipe is part silicone and part aluminum, connected by a clamp. I have attached a picture showing where it touches (view from above after removing air intake).

Can anyone with more experience than me tell me if this is gonna be an issue and needs to be fixed? Also any ideas how to fix it? Since it's so close to the IC outlet I don't think rotating the pipe will do much.
