I am tracking the ship because my daughter's car is on this ship as well.
Glad i clicked this post and saw this. Good thing it's still scheduled to arrive in Galveston on the 22nd still.

Pretty interesting watching the Marine Traffic app. You can clearly see where the hurricane is and how close ships are. Amazing what risks people take when that much money is involved.

Thanks for the update, I also checked when I woke up this morning and saw it had arrived. I'm hoping I can pick up the car on the 27th or 28th. Dealership is only 30 minutes from the port.

Setup a car carrier delivery alert for your car in order to determine when your car hits the dealer. You should have it by the weekend.

When i search the VIN, whether it be the whole thing or the last eight i get no prompts to register my email. According to my salesman the car isn't expected to be picked up by the shipping company until Thursday and will arrive at the dealer Friday. I'm hoping it's quicker than that because Thursday i was hoping to pick it up. I'm coming in from San Antonio to get it so if i can't make it Thursday it will probably be Saturday.

Cars started leaving Galveston yesterday. BMW Genius can provide you with Galveston departure date for your car. My daughter's car arrives Thursday in San Antonio.

Kind of funny, she is from Houston, but buys in San Antonio in order to find allocation and a decent discount.
