Happy Friday.
Just thought we'd leave this here as the announcement of our Official Release
for our HEX Tuning Stage ONE and Stage TWO ECU Software for the BMW M2.

This thread will serve as the epicenter for discussion topics, dyno plots, videos,
customer reviews, time slips and track results, etc... for all things ///M2!

As with all of our software products, significant time and effort have been
dedicated to application specific testing on our Mustang-AWD-500-SE and
DynoJet 224 dynos, as well as through real world testing and data acquisition.
The end result is to offer a fully engineered software solution that not only
delivers increased horsepower and torque, but improved drivability without
compromising reliability.



Tuning with a purpose!
Our goal is to not only provide a competitive product in terms of power delivery
and drivability, but to help potential customers understand the value of a turn-key,
"set it and forget it" style of ECU tuning, with optional capabilities for OBDII Port
MAP Switching between pre-engineered "Stage Level" performance files.

To start the conversation here's our Product Data Sheet for the BMW M2. We will
of course do our best to answer everyone's questions in as much detail as possible.

If so, is it user friendly or does it require OBD access with laptop?

Once the ECU has been unlocked, all flashing, MAP switching, updates, and
upgrades will take place through the OBDII Port.

MAP Switching does require a Windows Operating System, and is super quick
and convenient. MAP Switching takes less than 2 minutes, does not require
internet or cloud access, and does not require anything to be hardwired or
connected to your CANbus.

Looks like small error with BMW advertised whp and wtq as those would be crank HP and torque numbers.

Will the stage 2 tune work with a fabspeed 200 cel downpipe? Is the tune adaptive, meaning that will the addition of the large wagner intercooler on my car and pure inlet allow the car to advance timing or engage the overboost function above what would be normal on your tune and downpipe alone?

Stage TWO (as an off-road use/non-highway application) is calibrated for use with aftermarket downpipes.

Because this is a proper ECU Flash, it is fully adaptive in the same way as your OEM software for different
climates, fuel quality, driving conditions, etc... If the conditions allow for it, lower IAT's as a result of the
improved cooling efficiency from the larger intercooler, will yield more consistent power delivery based on
our calibration strategies.

not entirely sure but try VAC see if they have the ability to unlock, if not we can help you out too, we are about an hour hour and a half from philly.

There are two options for obtaining HEX Tuning ECU software for your BMW M2.
You can visit an Authorized HEX Tuning Dealer for on-site/same-day installation,
or if there is not a dealer within driving distance, you can send your physical ECU
to our Anaheim, CA location or the HEX Tuning Dealer of your choice.

For customers who will be sending their ECU's to VF Engineering, or to an
Authorized HEX Tuning Dealer
, the removal of the ECU can be easily
accomplished by an experienced DIY'er, or by an indy mechanic that you trust.

As for the actual unlocking process, we will only tune ECU's that were unlocked
by our own engineering department, or by one of our trained and experienced
Authorized Dealers.

We have developed our own HEX Tuning Dealer Tools for the unlocking and
flashing process, and this policy is in place so that we are able to ensure the best
results while guaranteeing the functionality and reliability of our software.



Not all unlocking processes are the same, and the purpose of supplying our own
tools while training all of our own Authorized Dealers is to create consistency
and repeatability for all of our performance applications.
