What countries do and don't have OPFs installed?

I'm in Australia and awaiting delivery in late Dec.

Do we know which countries do and don't have OPFs installed on the CS?

I literally got a call from my dealer today. What was meant to be a last week of Jan delivery has just been bumped up to Christmas Eve. Best Christmas present ever!

I think this is exactly the case as Russia and Ukraine have no OPFs as well

If this is the case then with Euro production finished and rest of the world prod ramped we should be hearing some differently sounding CS deliveries landing right now.

My dealer said that M2 CS or other BMW doesn't come with any filter and because of that comes with 6-8 HP more. This applies for El Salvador

If the CS has OPF it won't sound as loud as a F80. This is far from that...

You don’t buy a M2CS for the sound, I had a 30 Jahre M3 Comp so can speak from experience.

But I am still bloody excited for my Manual CS to arrive in Jan.

Bringing back this old thread, a friend told me Australian M2C do have particulate filters. Can someone verify this?
