Anyone else stuck "at the port"?

It is pretty sad that in this day and age we can't have decent tech that makes it fun to order a car, and track it...you guys in the US are light years ahead of BMW Canada who can't tell me anything...grrrr

been stuck in port for a week. Was stuck at dispatch for a couple of weeks.

Mine car was completed on Nov. 10th but still says 'Dispatched from Factory' as status. Is this car still sitting at Bremerhaven or on its way to VPC. I don't have any more info.

Dispatched from factory means it is awaiting a ship assignment, once it gets a ship assigned they it will probably show at port until loaded on a ship then it will be in transit.

Finally got an update after my car has been sitting at the port for over 5 weeks (masked some of the numbers purposefully):

"Spoke to the port and got an update on German produced not shipped cars. They have multiple issues as far as vessels and space. We have X # of cars produced and not shipped from Germany, and Y # of cars from Mexico. The German cars should be loaded on the next ship with an ETA of 12/20 at PJ."

So here is to hoping mine arrives around Xmas, which would be ~11 weeks since production has concluded!

I heard something similar. my order was in the production queue before a buddy ordered his 2021 M2C. He received his a couple weeks ago.

i received a production number back in early september. i guess it's hit or miss.

My car was completed on Nov 6. It was "in Transit" up until last Wednesday when it ticked one step to "At The Port". And now more wait. Genius I talked to seemed to think it will ship by next Monday. Hopefully yours ( and mine ) will be on a ship by then. Fingers crossed

Looks like the boat is at the entrance to the Panama Canal. Most recent ETA from dealer is 12/27 (at port, not at dealer).

My M2 CS has been at the port in Bremerhaven since Dec 8 and has missed at least 2 outgoing vessels to Newark/NYC. Next WW boat out now as far as I can tell is the day after Christmas getting in to the states on Jan 14 ugh.

There really is a lot of variability across our experiences. Mine was stuck for more than 5 weeks at "Scheduled for Production", then went through production smoothly (probably the most consistent steps for us all), then less than 2 weeks from "Ready for Transport" to "In Transit". Can't complain about the recent progress - after more than a 2-month wait from Order to start of Production.

I have a friend (not on the forum) who was a week 47 build and lives in the Midwest. His car left for the east coast before my week 45 left for the West Coast. His dealer now has the car, but noticed some paint damage during their clean and inspection, so to the body shop it goes.

We will see who gets their car first.
