Well I happen to be w T Mobile but I can say right now I'd definitely not want them tracking my driving

I do like the ability to lock and unlock because I hide a key in a faraday cage so that I don't have to carry the key on me

I also like that ability (although curiously, if I lock the car from Connected it does not auto fold my mirrors, like it does with the key or comfort access).

Yes you're correct there's nothing wrong it's just the way it works

Thought I'd report back since I've had some time to mess around with this.

So upon arrival, I registered my car on BMW's portal and it would seem, remote services are present and do not have an expire date... wtf? That said, a few other services are also available but only for a month or so (such as map updates). The worst of all, is that I can't buy any of the packages that contain a bundle of services, because apparently they are not available for my vehicle?!?

Any help with the above? I ll call BMW tomorrow to double-check,but that is weird...

As for the app, I used the BMW Connected app for a few days and then realised there is a replacement app called My BMW (how cliche...). So now got that up and running and so far seems faster at sending instructions and updating info:
