CCB Brake Pads Discussion
Hey people. My factory pads are finally dead now, and im looking for pads that will handle the track better but will also handle street driving. Any reccomendations and experiences would be much appriciated!

If you've got CCB and want to extend the life. Swap the pads at 50% thickness. If you aren't worried about burning through discs, then don't worry about it. Keeps the discs cooler and burns up less carbon is the consensus.

I am tempted to keep the OEM CCB disks and pads. I don’t drive the car much and the cost over time is small, or so I hope.
What was the estimate to get the pads replaced? |

I've thought about getting a used CCB set since I swap pads for track days anyway. It wouldn't be much more work to swap rotors.

I wouldn't be able to tell you, I had the shop install them and flush my brakes at that time when I was going to the track. They're much better than stock though and having heard the smearing issue with stock pads, I didn't want to take that chance. I've noticed temp difference with them and brake ducts though.
