and no VIN-locked flash cables.

Wow, what changed with the fuel pump limitation to allow that? What kind of power does full E85 make? I remember JB4 was making 530 RWHP on a dynojet with nothing but their E30 piggyback tune.

You cannot run full E85 on the stock tune but you can on a custom E85 tune. AFAIK, stock ZCP tune from factory allows up to 5-6 gallons of E85 per tank (this limit is slightly less for Non-ZCP) but you need to get there gradually (i.e. start with 1-2 gallons and go up incrementally with every fill up). I'm no tuning expert but I read Carry's posts out of curiosity in the past couple years. So that being said, you need a custom flash tune to be able to run full E85 on S55 and there are ton of people running full E85.

PTF / bm3 is the first platform ever to fully support E30 flash maps and Full E85 tuned in stock fueling in the world. Others are attempting to do it but I saw they're only able to run E70 at the moment. Quote:

Both are great, really depends on the individual needs and who they feel is best for them. Shoot both an email and start from there!

Sorry for late reply but I worked with Steve Dinan direct, they used my M2C as R&D. As many of you noted, the S55 tune is very similar to the M3 CS but slightly different. Carbahn started with M3 CS then adapted to the M2C, more difference than you would think. Result is insanity. 553 hp and 560 ft lb torque. I've been learning to tame the beast. If you want a time, send it.

When I contacted them a few months back $750 for the tune, $250ish for the tablet, $100 for startup and burbles and $750 for a matching warranty. When they launched this tune for the M3 and M4 there was a 20% discount for that group. I'd buy if that was offered. I also think they would get more people from here to buy their tune. It is quite impressive compared to some others based on the dyno results.

In Northern Italy it is very renowned and appreciated Biesse Racing tuner. Very competent on S55 engines. On cars like mine with ISTEP version with locked OBD, they can connect directly to the control unit without disassembling the intercooler and loading their map. The maximum driving torque is deliberately limited to 62 kgm so as not to compromise too much traction. The power achieved is very good: 518 hp eliminating OPF of the European version and using 100 RON petrol. The power remains on the 500 hp even 7,500 rpm.
I am very satisfied. Auto is fun and very manageable. |

I'm considering a tune, but don't want to lose the factory smoothness or have issues with jerky/rough throttle response. |

As summer is ending soon in the Northeast, I need to replace my rear Michelin Alpine 4a's. What would be the recommended tire size for the rear? I plan to tune to BM3 Stage 1 (possibly starting with the M4 GTS Map) but have no immediate plans to go to Stage 2. |
