Which Color 763
Ive convinced myself that the 2 tone 437s are the only flaw in the final look in my car.
I'm in the market for some 763s and I can't decide which color. I've narrowed it down to frozen gold 763 or the jet black 763. Not a huge fan of the matte 763s. I'm currently in a 2018 AW M2 and the whole thing is carbon fibered out so it's a full black/white build. I think the frozen would look good on AW but there's so many carbon fiber parts on it that I think the jet blacks are the safer choice. Thoughts? |

763m are same specs, width, size and offset as the 437m
They are also pretty much the same weight since the 437m are lightweight and forged wheels Since you are not a fan of the 2 tones color , i would just powder coat or paint the 437m the color you would want the 763m Gold is nice, satin titanium too. The frozen gold 763m are amazing on black car. On a white car, everything is fine but make yourself a favor, no gloss black |

I have the black 763m's as part of the Black Shadow limited edition run they did in 2018, but am really looking for the frozen gold as the all black look for me is too much, although still not sure about the blue calipers against the gold...
I could repaint/powder coat my existing wheels as I agree the black/gold combo is great, but for all other M2 colors I think the black wheels are a great contrast. Last edited by silstream; 04-01-2023 at 10:00 PM.. |

This was my debate as well for my BSM, and both Matte and Jet Black seemed boring to me as well, really gets lost in the black.
I had never seen the Frozen Golds in person, and pictures varied significantly depending on lighting- some matte gold, almost silver, some yellowish gold. I ultimately just had to try it myself and ordered a set. I have had them on the car for a month now, and they definitely vary depending on lighting. In direct sunlight, they are definitely "shiny" and super reflective. At night or indoors, just the right amount of contrast.

Lol just found this post..op glad you saw my replies elsewhere. For others contemplating gold with aw. The color depends on lighting as people said. In direct sunlight the inner silver coating gives off more of a shade. At nighttime and darker environment it looks more of a darker/bolder gold
