As for tricking people into buying them, I suspect that many of us bought one because it was about the only available stock left. My dealer couldn't get an allocation, and the best option I had was one of these special edition units.

I didn't set out to buy a special contents unit, but not unhappy overall with how it turned out

Coming from my individual Atlantis Blue M3 with Silverstone Full Leather, I absolutely could not have a car with PLAIN black leather

or something dime a dozen. The Special content package was really the closest to the spec I wanted, if only you could add the Moonroof that would of icing on top as I personally love having them in all my cars.

Btw what's in your box of goodies from ind ? I have a few things coming from them as well.

As far as mods goes, very similar to yours. M Performance/Alcantara Interior Trim (DCT), side/rear reflector deletes (side in HS, rear in matte black), M Performance Carbon rear spoiler, M Performance Carbon Mirror Caps, M Performance Stainless Pedals, Tint + PPF + Ceramic being done at the same time as the parts installation. Waiting to decide on a front splitter as Long Island roads are terrible and my driveway is up a slight incline. Cannot wait!

I just picked up mine yesterday. I'm in the Boston area don't worry lol

I think this spec is great, I wouldn't change anything. This is also my first M car and this thing is ridiculous. Its unbelievable fun to drive this car and you don't even have to go fast.

Advice for everyone who never had M car before stop reading forums and reviews and just go get one!

I was looking at some of the in-stock ZEDs via kilter.com last night - many of them have been on the dealer's lot for a LONG time. Saw one with a June 2020 production date. Any of these should be ripe for negotiating a great deal.. as opposed to trying to find an allocation to do a factory order, which are very hard to come by now, as are discounts on such orders. These will be collectible someday, given that only 120 were produced.

My original vision was for an AW with Exec only, add Apex wheels. This was about $3000 (including $550 for paint) more and includes all of the Exec stuff except heated steering wheel. When I saw this color with the black 763Ms in person, I was immediately sold. It screams for tint to really set it off. Need to take some daytime pics.

Had lbb on order and this became available, saw in person and grabbed it. Didn’t think I would like the silver till I saw in person, looks great with the rims! Spectacular vehicle! Gotta do some homework on a ceramic coating

Mine is still showing 'At Port' on the US side. Not sure what it says between that and PCD delivery- like does it go Port then VPC then PCD?
