Looking for info on "Autox" branded FMIC
Hi all,
I recently purchased this intercooler from someone on Facebook Marketplace for my OG M2. I was told it was a Wagner one, however, upon getting it home I only see “autox” as branding. I can’t find much from google, was hoping someone might be able to give me some more info on it before I install it. Thanks! |

Only $150 so not bad! Any risks of installing it and giving it a whirl? I don’t have a tune yet, just a downpipe, and no track driving so it shouldn’t be getting it too hot!

While there's no risk involved in installing the intercooler, it might not provide any significant performance improvement depending on its core density.
Therefore, it could potentially be an unnecessary investment of time and effort. I recommend taking a picture the intercooler's fins to help you make an informed decision. We can then let you know if it's a worthy upgrade.

That I can do, grateful for the help! First image is the top step (thinner part) second photo is the thicker part of the IC and third photo shows both. Let me know if there’s anything else I can share to help give you an idea of what it looks like.

However, given that you already have it, there's no harm in proceeding with the installation. It might still offer some improvements, even if not as substantial as a higher-end model.
