Has anyone had luck sourcing an Ultimate Clutch Pedal, recently?

I ordered one from ECS Tuning in early July. It was supposed to arrive 3 weeks ago but I've now received two emails from them, blaming the delay on "Global supply chain conditions and labor shortages".

Just curious if there is another way people are successfully sourcing these, prior to cancelling my order with ECS.

I'm having the same issue trying to find one. Been backordered for months and can't buy one direct. I wonder if UCP is out of business....

UCP is not out of business, we are about 3-4 weeks away from seeing a new shipment arrive in stock with the struggles of material supply among other things.

We're local to UCP, so we'll be getting our stocking order first.

I'm on a list waiting for mine also. Small companies getting fab material is real bitch these days. Sucks. For the company that is.

Such a simple piece and so much waiting time... if I had one to be able to copy it, I could make as many as I wanted, since I also want one, I ordered it and I received an email 6 weeks of waiting

Thanks for the info.

As luck would have it, I ended up cancelling my order with ECS and placed a new order with EAS, back on 8/15. If what you say is true, it looks like that was the correct move.

I'm also in the queue for an Autosolutions shift kit from Ronald, with no estimated ship date. Truthfully, I don't anticipate I'll see that order delivered until the snowy months arrive and the car goes back to being a garage queen. It looks like the supply chain issues continue to be pretty crazy, unfortunately.

Ron is best in the biz and been doing shifters for very a long time. You'll be happy in the long run.

Appreciate the order, feel free to contact me anytime if you have any questions.

Oh yes, I have absolutely no doubt that the product Ron provides will be worth every bit of the wait.

I had an UCP order in with Turner Motorsport. However they strung me along for at least 3 different delay emails of... "it will now ship xx/xx/xxxx". Every time I thought okay, just a few more weeks. Didn't realize they had huge backorder line of peeps in front of me, until I finally got a person on phone who gave me the straight scoop. I have no problem waiting if a business is upfront... but stringing customers along without a realistic idea of when a customer order will be filled - very bad way to do business. I canceled my order, meh.

I did get a AS SSK. I went with a 30% reduction and Ron's stiffest bushing. Took approximately 3.5 months to get but I am a big fan of the change!

Yeah, I'm very excited about that mod. Ron and I decided on a 25% reduction and the "intermediate" bushing as the best combo for my usage. Even if it comes this winter, it will give me a good off-season project to work on.

The Ultimate Clutch Pedal will be a welcomed upgrade, as well. After driving my buddy's Cayman GT4, I walked away with the realization that the soft clutch pedal and mushy shifter are the only two areas where the M2C lacks. At least, in my opinion.

Following this for more UCP reviews. I'm undecided. The clutch stop fixed the overtravel issue at the bottom of travel. However, there is a lot of dead space at the top of the throw to initiate disengagement. The mushy shifter was a huge irritation. Felt like it was going to bend and break. 25% reduction and 80A bushing is nice.

Given your complaint, I think the UCP will be the perfect fix. Reducing the dead space at the top of the throw is one of the main things accomplished by the UCP. Some people say how solid it feels, and that is true. But the OEM one is pretty solid too. The biggest difference you'll notice is the throw reduction.

Good luck to all of you who are waiting; hope you get yours soon. I was fortunate enough to get mine before COVID. In fact, I carried it over from my M4, and have been enjoying it for years.

Welp, it's been 4 additional weeks. Any word on allocation/inventory?

Interested in hearing what a realistic lead time might be for a new order placed today.

Query: What's the "final answer"-- to install the UCP, do you need to Dremel out the covering plastics, or will it fit with no modification?

I've got one in a box I've never opened, but would like to get a clear answer before starting the install.

Got an email reply back this morning, the ETA has been pushed back to 10/31. Price will be going up as well for new orders due to raw material cost increases. Those that have already ordered will honor the current price as well as any new orders until 9/30.

In the meantime, we'll be informing our current customers about the wait - I'd advise getting in line ASAP as it may be some time before another batch is made. Once we're out, I'm not sure if we'll be taking any more orders until we can see if supply is flowing again as some have been waiting for months on their orders to be fulfilled.

I've been convinced to give this a try, and am now in the queue for a UCP.
