Looks like the max boost is early then bleeds off. Avoid its true "peak" HP

Usually we see about ~8whp on M3/M4s with filters/charcoal delete. Same as intakes.

I'm sure Terry from BMS will also get a M2C on the dyno some time. For another comparison. He got 330whp/388wtq with a M2 N55 on a dynojet. More along the lines of what you normally see.

OP, I have a question. You mentioned 5th gear was used for runs. Can I assume definitive full throttle at 2-2,200 rpms? I have some experience with the dyno although it has a bit. I ask as it seems the engine would be lugging somewhat in that gear hence not recording accurate data until a couple hundred more rpms.
Thanks for sharing.

That was definitely my first impression when I drove out of Welt...the low end torque just wasn't as noticeble to the OG M2. (And I had only driven the OG for like 10-15 min about 4-5 months ago and I still could tell)

That is the N55, same thing on their normal BMW models with the N55. My tuned 135i was torquey down low. S55 is tuned to build out power through rev range. After 2500rpm is where the S55 takes over and continues to build more torque. If you look at the HP curves, power deficit continues to grow through out the curve. At 5500 there is a ~40whp difference, at 6500 there is a ~60whp difference. S55 is a more peaky, rev happy motor. With that said, they are both torquey motors compared to the old NA S65 that had less than 250wtq at 2500. S55 is a torquey turbo motor, with a sprinkle of the old M normally aspirated feel.
